You might’ve seen something on the news or on Twitter about Russia invading Ukraine over the past few months. Now that the audacity of hype has run its course, let us consider how it will only end once there is a Russian flag planted and victory is declared.
As a Canadian of Ukrainian heritage I certainly disagree with the perspective taken in this article, and exception to not enough detail being given to the history of Zaporizhia, but this is an excellent and well appreciated article displaying the Russian perspective on Ukraine.
I find it telling that in this story of Russian love for Ukraine, you don't make a single mention of the 4 million Ukrainians starved to death by Stalin in the 30s.
